M-23 Transportation Impact Fees

The City shall prepare a Development Impact Fee Feasibility Study and Nexus Report to assess the potential for establishing development impact fees for local transportation improvements, and if deemed appropriate by City Council, regional transportation improvements.  Based on the findings of the Feasibility Study and Nexus Report and direction from the City Council, the City may prepare and adopt an Impact Fee Ordinance for transportation improvements.

The City has begun a Citywide multimodal study that will address the feasibility of developing a dedicated source of funding for transportation improvements.  The City expect this program will be completed by the Fall 2021.
