The City shall conduct a study to identify neighborhoods where appropriate traffic-calming measures could help reduce speeding and create safer streets. Based on findings from the study, the City shall prepare and submit recommendations to the City Council on priority streets for traffic calming measures.
In 2018, the City adopted a Neighborhood Traffic Calming Policy which identifes a process by which traffic calming complaints are addressed. The Policy also included a robust toolbox which can be used to address traffic complaints that are filed to ensure a timely reponse.
