The City shall conduct a study to evaluate the feasibility of establishing shuttle services to address any unmet transit needs, to fill in gaps in service that are not being met by other transit providers, and to improve transit connections between major transit stations and employment centers. Based on findings from the study, the City shall prepare and submit recommendations to the City Council relative to the options for establishing such services in the city.
The Shuttle Study evaluated the feasibility of six potential shuttle routes in the City and was competed in 2018. A funding shortfall has put this project on hold. For more information, please contact the Public Work Traffic Engineering Division at 510-583-4730.
