H-2 Minor Home Repair Grant (MHRP)

The City shall continue to provide rehabilitation grants up to $5,000 to qualified lower-income elderly and/or disabled homeowners to make minor home repairs in order to address health and safety problems, correct code deficiencies, and improve the outward appearance of homes. Priority will be given to work that corrects health and safety issues, and to accessibility modifications for people who have disabilities. The City shall disseminate information to homeowners who participate in the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program regarding rehabilitation standards, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation measures.
