The City shall implement the provisions of SB 375 streamlining the CEQA process for Transit Priority Projects and projects that conform to the Sustainable Communities Strategy and meet specific criteria set forth in SB 375.

Consistent with SB375 streamlining provisions, the City adopted the Downtown Specific Plan, completed an update to the Mission Boulevard Code and adopted new VMT CEQA thresholds, which help streamling develpoment review of projects located within 1/2 mile of the City's two BART stations. Additional legislation (SB330 and SB35) further promote project streamlining and to date, several applicants have benefited from these provisions.
